Amy Miller

Amy Miller is a native Texan, born and raised in the small town of DeKalb in the Northeast corner of this great state. From that upbringing, she has gone on to become a successful business woman, loyal friend, tireless volunteer, and loving mother. Amy retired with AT&T after 24 years of service covering most of East Texas, especially Greater Houston. During that time, she has been nationally recognized by AT&T for her community involvement and her leadership of activities both within and outside the company. Specifically, she has been the recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for the last 3 years and the Mason Jackson Eternal Flame Award which is the top award for South Texas. More importantly, she won these awards based on nominations by her supervisors and peers. The Mason award expressly recognized Amy for her heart and dedication to those she works with and her community as a whole. Amy is active in numerous volunteer activities in Houston including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) and the Easter Seals of Greater Houston. She serves on the Board of Directors for HLSR, the Spring Branch Education Foundation, and the Kim Coleman Education Foundation as well as several steering committees for Easter Seals. Amy was selected as a "Trailblazer" honoree in 2017 for her outstanding work in the community and with HLSR. Amy and her family reside in the Memorial area in the Spring Branch Independent School District. Amy is dedicated to being the best at what she does.
